The Collected Seam began as a personal archive—a place to document the quiet, tactile moments of making and living. Over time, it has evolved into a space dedicated to the pursuit of an intentional life.

The Story

The Collected Seam was born from a lifelong love of homes that feel layered, storied, and deeply lived-in. After studying Interior Design in San Francisco, I developed a deep appreciation for the art of the mix—blending collected vintage pieces with timeless design to create spaces that feel both elegant and entirely cozy.

Creativity has always been woven into the fabric of my life. I grew up in a home where making things by hand wasn’t just a pastime; it was the rhythm of everyday life. I learned to sew at a young age, discovering early on that crafting, decorating, and collecting beautiful things were the ways I grounded myself and made a house feel like a home.

Like so many women, I took a quiet sabbatical from those creative pursuits while leaning into the beautiful chaos of raising a family. Today, with two little ones still keeping life wonderfully full, I’ve happily found my way back to the hobbies that once shaped me—the affectionately dubbed “old lady hobbies” that bring an immense amount of joy, comfort, and rhythm to the everyday.
